School Visits

Children’s Day

Children’s Day will be held on TUESDAY 3rd JULY 2018, please make a note of this on your school calendars.

We would be delighted if you could join us for this special day just for schools, which is the ideal way to introduce younger audiences to music, dance, and the spirit of international friendship that is unique to Llangollen.

The concert in the main pavilion will focus on the theme of peace and will feature a mini – musical produced in collaboration with Theatr Clwyd exploring ideas of friendship, hope and empowerment. Come join Theatr Clwyd in a fun filled experience led by Theatr Clwyd’s young company. The concert will also include our traditional Peace Message delivered by local children and performances by our international competitors.

Throughout the day, across the field and on our outside performance areas, there will be a colourful array of children’s entertainment and activities. These will include dance workshops, street theatre, international performers in traditional costume and plenty of tasty food and craft stalls.

The grounds open at 8.30am and details of the concert timings are as follows:Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod 2016.
