The Clwyd Clippers is the chorus of Mold Barbershop Harmony Club which was founded in 1987 by a small group of enthusiasts, some of whom were young enough to still be members today!
The chorus has competed in many national conventions of barbershop singers, not only in the UK but also in Eire and Spain. It has performed on radio and television, in all the major North Wales theatres, and in many other prestigious venues. The chorus has visited Eire, Holland and Germany as well as entertaining visiting choruses from Holland and New Zealand and visiting BABS choruses.
Our happy group is always pleased to find an excuse to sing anywhere in our own particular style of four part harmony, and has delighted audiences in a great variety of venues singing at weddings, receptions, birthdays, after-dinner entertainment, charity fund-raising events and corporate events. In fact, the chorus will sing for almost any reason you care to imagine!
The chorus is delighted to be directed by Rhiannon Owens-Hall, a qualified and talented musician who is known and respected worldwide, in both classical and barbershop circles, as a performer, educator and international judge.
