A big band based in Chester for 30 years, reinvigorated by the arrival of Jan Modelski 4 years ago. We have developed a wide repertoire of songs both instrumental and vocal, playing both traditional big band music like Glen Miller and Duke Ellington through to Beyonce and Stevie Wonder.

We are previous participants of Llangollen Music Festival in 2016 and 2017. We organised a group of dancers and musicians for international festivals in Australia, UK, Italy, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan. This year we would like to witness this wonderful event again.

Soul Oasis Cultural Ambassadors was created out of discussions held among several cultural enthusiasts in 2008. We are a student-run acapella group from Tiffin School based in Kingston Upon Thames. Our members are taken from the prestigious Tiffin Boys’ Choir and the group has performed contemporary, swing and classical repertoire for over ten years in concerts and competitions.
