Biography: The Ysgol Ynyswen are a group of enthusiastic singers who love performing. The choir is full of talented children who have achieved success individually and as part of the choir. The children are committed to being the best they can and they love performing through the Welsh language.
They won the Valleys Eisteddfod choir competition in 2015and have reached the national round of the Urdd Eisteddfod many times for singing, acting and instrumental solos. They have sung on an outdoor stage and reached the preliminaries stage for the Children’s choir before but this is the first time they will perform in the pavilion.
They rehearse once a week on a Thursday evening. Leading up to competitions they will have extra rehearsals during and after school time.
