Llanfest with The Fratellis, The Coral, The Pigeon Detectives and Dodgy

We are extremely excited to announce our phenomenal line-up for Llanfest 2019!

Scottish indie rockers The Fratellis, best known for their worldwide smash Chelsea DaggerMistress Mabel and Whistle for the Choir, will headline Llanfest alongside Merseyside music legends The Coral, with their chart-topping tracks Dreaming of YouPass it On and In the Morning.

Joining the high energy line-up will be Leeds-based indie icons The Pigeon Detectives, with the likes of This is an EmergencyTake Her Back and I Found Out, as well as pop rock trio Dodgy, with nostalgic nineties hits Staying out for the Summer and Good Enough to open the main stage headliners.

Soak up the summer festival atmosphere from 2pm with a range of live bands on the outside stages: The Globe StageThe World StageThe Amphitheatre StageAcoustic Sessions in The Food court and The Llan Jam. For more information on the timetable for each stage please scroll down. Enjoy the wide variety of food and drink stalls around the field before the Llanfest finale in the main Pavilion.

The Pavilion Main Stage

Headliners- The Fratellis, The Coral, The Pigeon Detectives and Dodgy start from 6pm.

The Globe Stage

Sawbones Playing hard rock with a pop sensiblity and prog, metal, hardcore, punk and grunge influences. 2.00pm
Soul Jacker 3.00pm
Marblehead Johnson Live band which recreated Britpop hits up-to-date in a powerful combination of passion and quality. 4.00pm
Skaburst Playing their own brand of anarchic Classic Ska and Ska’d up classics, with a classic line up of Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys and Sax. 5.00pm

The World Stage

The Montagues An alt-rock/indie four piece from North Wales, they blend punchy drum and bass driven riffs with stadium sized choruses. 2.00pm
Seprona A five-piece band from Liverpool creeps and glides with energetic indie and musicianship to make you dance, mosh and sway. 3.00pm
Before the Storm Is a Hard Rock Wrexham based band. 4.00pm
The Droogs A rock band at heart with a funky and alternative twist. The will play many classics but also throw a few surprises and hidden gems into the set to. 5.00pm

The Amphitheatre Stage

The Cavern Club Cavern music performed by Cavern artists. They have always reflected the current musical trends, embracing along the way, Blues, Soul, Rock and Indie. The Tony Skeggs band will take you on a musical journey from The Beatles to the Arctic Monkeys and much more in between. Richard Batty returns with his acoustic show after a successful Llanfest debut last year. The day will be held together by Jonny Parry who will also perform an acoustic set, everything from The Kinks to Oasis. 2.00pm – 5.50pm

Acoustic Sessions in The Food court

Jude Lane Jude Lane is a local singer-songwriter, playing acoustic guitar and dulcimer. Her songs have been described as ‘melodic and lyrical – think Neil Young, Carole King and Joni Mitchell’. 2.00pm
Dave Grasshopper Join Dave for a set list of Blues, Country, Folk roots and self-penned songs. 3.00pm
Lucy Mayhew She is playing unlikely covers (including Led Zeppelin and the occasional 90s dance classic), indie-blues. 4.00pm
The GOGS A three-member band from Wrexham with a singer, guitarist, percussionist, backing vocals and a bassist. 5.00pm

Llan Jam

Misschief (singer) with James Sharp on piano Cheshire covers band with heart and soul, light and shade, from background love songs to rock and pop. 2.00pm
Fay and Deon A fresh and upcoming acoustic duo, engaging and authentic covers of well-known artists. 2.40pm
Gareth Heesom Singer/songwriter from the North West, a rock tinged voice that floats over country/folk acoustic wings. 3.30pm
Inkonsoulable Heavily inspired by the classic soul of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, will be appearing as an acoustic duo. 4.20pm
Misschief Cheshire covers band with heart and soul, light and shade, From background love songs to rock and pop, all delivered with passion for music. 5.10pm
