(English) Brenig

Ymddiheuraf, does dim ar gael yn Gymraeg.

Biography:    Daniel Laws (guitar, vocals & composer) formed BRENIG with friends Mandy Martin (mandolin, guitar and vocals) and Mary Martin (fiddle) in 2012 to perform his songs. Mary left the band last year but will join them on the occasional local concert and future recording. Very much a gigging band, BRENIG are well liked by all ages and have a great reputation for their live performances.

The beauty of Daniels songs is that they are memorable, atmospheric, rhythmic, wonderfully descriptive, humorous and heartfelt. Covering themes such as folklore, traditions, history, love and the countryside, while using Celtic, Cajon, country and bluesy rhythms. Described as modern folk touching upon the traditional.

BRENIG have performed at the Llangollen international eisteddfod and Royal Welsh Spring festival for the last three years, Malvern Three Counties Show and many other shows and fayres. Guested at folk clubs and folk festivals in England and wales, Art centres and theatres, medieval festivals, village halls and charity events. Supported artists such as Vin Garbutt, Winter Wilson etc.
