(English) Wargrave Community Choir

Ymddiheuraf, does dim ar gael yn Gymraeg.

Wargrave Community Choir, based in Newton-le-Willows is a mixed choir and was formed in 2017 by seven friends who met at another choir and so became the founding members of WCC.
The choir now stands at approx 60 members and under the wonderful musical direction of Shade Black, have gone from strength to strength over the years.

They sing at various events throughout the year as well as organising their own concerts and always try to help their Community by giving and performing for charity and at charitable events. They like to perform many genres of music including pop, folk and religious pieces.

At their heart is a shared love of music but insist that they have lots of fun along the way and have formed many friendships which is what makes this choir special. Wargrave Community Choir have performed at Eisteddfod on 3 occasions previously. In 2023 they performed in the torrential rain at the Eisteddfod! true grit!
