Biography: BTM Band: Next Generation is the youth section of the BTM Brass Band, one of the most successful brass bands in the country. “BTM” stands for Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen: three villages nestled together in an old South Wales, United Kingdom, mining community. BTM Band: Next Generation has been in existence for many years – and several of its members have progressed into the BTM Band, representing the Band at the highest level both at home and abroad. They play a wide variety of all types of music and educate both, young and not so young in how to play brass instruments.
Regularly they perform concerts in the Caerphilly County Borough together with competing in various brass competitions where they have won numerous awards. Also three of their members have successfully auditioned for the National Youth Brass Band of Wales.
