Biography: We are usually 2 Blokes, 1 woman, 1 fiddle, 1 guitar, 3 squeezeboxes, 7 gob irons, and various whistles and percussion. Playing folky bluesy country tuneage. But due to a previous engagement of our multi-instrumentalist Mike “Squeezebox” Clark we will be: 1 Bloke, 1 Woman, 1 guitar and 1 fiddle, playing folky bluesy country tuneage. The woman will be Sam Rex Edwards and the bloke Brian Connaughton, they hope you can come to the Globe stage and check them out.
The Glaaswalkers have been together off and on with various line ups for about eight years. In that time we have played at pubs and eateries in the area, the International Eisteddfod, the Llangollen Fringe, Froncysyllte mail voice choir’s garden party at Trevor Hall, the Saughall Hoedown, Soundbox in Chester supporting Gilmore and Roberts, the Llangollen Red Dragon Music festival and an eventful mini tour in the Netherlands with some Dutch friends.
