Biography: The Melodics are a women’s singing group who rehearse in Llangollen, originally formed in 2010 and recently reformed. They meet once a week in a local pub to sing and socialise, and they sing pop songs from the 1940s up to the present day. The emphasis is on enjoyment, and the belief that anyone can sing and everyone is welcome. They are led by local musician and songwriter Leonie Anne Kirby.
