The Eisteddfod opens with International Children’s Day themed ‘Our World, Our Voice’. The programme features a selection of interesting performances, workshops and entertainment which is aimed at school children, including a morning concert in the Pavilion.

The competitions in the Pavilion will begin at 1.15pm today.

In the Pavilion today:


  • Children’s Day Concert 10:30 – 1:00pm


  • Choir: Children’s Folk Song Choir  This Children’s choir competition is for singers aged 18 and under. They will be singing a programme of traditional folk song from their own country for 6 minutes.


  • Choir: Senior Children’s Choir – This children’s choir competition is for singers aged 12 to 18.  They will be singing a contrasting programme of music for 7 minutes.

Price includes reserved seat in the Pavilion in the afternoon only (unreserved seating available in the rear of the Pavilion during the Children’s Concert in the morning)
