Siop Cwlwm was established in July 2010 and is owned and run by mother and daughter team Linda and Lowri Roberts.
We sell a wide variety of Welsh books, music, greeting cards, gifts and homewares. You will find our shop in the award winning Oswestry indoor market (Powis Hall) every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, or you can buy items from our online shop www.siopcwlwm.co.uk .
Since January 2017, we are proud to work in partnership with Saith Seren in Wrexham to provide a twice-monthly Pop-up Welsh Shop and a free ‘click & collect’ service. Siop Cwlwm’s Pop-up Shop at Saith Seren is held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, between 11am and 4pm (please check our social media channels as details may vary).
The items we sell have been specially selected by us, and we are always looking for items, especially those produced by local designers, producers and craftspeople, so feel free to contact us if you have any suggestions!
We are proud to supply many of our local schools and pre-school groups with Welsh and bilingual books and educational materials. We offer a discount to all schools and similar groups who order from us, as well as free local delivery.
Lowri is also a professional freelance Welsh translator, running the Trosi Tanat Translation business.
