Biography: Barbershop at Locomotion was formed as an offshoot of Locomotion Boys choir, which is part of Tees Valley Music Service. The Barbershop group members consists of boys typically between the ages of 13-18. We enjoy singing traditional Barbershop style arrangements.
The group has been together for approximately two years and allows boys with broken voices the opportunity to experience close harmony singing. Following their performance at the Regional Festival of Music for Youth at Sage Gateshead in April, Barbershop were invited to perform at the National Festival of Music for Youth at Symphony Hall, Birmingham in July 2018.
