Biography:
Côr Meibion Taf was formed in 2004 and this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. During this time the choir has grown to include around 70 members who live in Cardiff and the surrounding area.
The choir has won first prize on three occasions at the National Eisteddfod, and has performed regularly in Wales and beyond. The choir has toured successfully during the last decade to North America, Italy, Ireland, Scotland and Cornwall.
Côr Meibion Taf has appeared at St David’s Hall as part of the Welsh Proms and at the Royal Albert Hall in the London Welsh Festival of Male Voice Choirs.
The choir is often called upon to hold concerts in aid of various charities, and they have performed several times at the Principality Stadium before Wales international rugby matches.
The choir has just recorded and released its second CD, ‘Gwahoddiad‘.
