Biography: Côr y Cwm was formed in 2008 to compete at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. Our highlights include: winning the youth choir category in ‘Choir of the Year’ in 2016, winning 1st prize in the Junior Children’s Choir competition at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in 2016, winning 1st prize in the Senior Children’s Choir competition at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfo, being chosen as ‘choir of the festival ‘ at the National Eisteddfod, performing at the world premiere of ‘Speak Out’ and a lot more. They also recorded their own CD featuring a broad range of repertoire including classical, popular, sacred, folk and jazz and contemporary music.
