Where and how often do you rehearse?

I rehearse at home with a pa system and desk. Rehearsals depend on how often I have a gig. On the build up to a gig it will be weekly for up to 6 weeks before.

How would you best describe yourself?

Raw and conscious. I confront issues many want to shy away from. I cross genres between hip-hop, spoken word and rock to do this. I’d label myself rhythmic story teller and Street poet.

Any fun group stories?

I was the first women to ever read out the Wrexham AFC team sheet on a match day. It was at the Wrexham vs Chesterfield match in March 2019. I was just about to perform a specially commissioned poem on the pitch at half time to celebrate International Women’s Day when I was asked to read out the team sheet. As a Wrexham fan, this made my life!
