Biography: Gema Citra Nusantara (GCN) was founded in December 2004, based on a collective desire not only to preserve, but also to further develop and promote traditional Indonesian performing arts, by Mira M. Arismunandar. Since its introduction in 2004, the Group has expanded from domestic performances to performances on an international scale, having participated in various international festivals. With a vision to generate culturally and educated youth, GCN earned a successful track record as the Artistic Coordinating Body of schools who have sent their students to participate in international folklore festivals, or competitions
