Biography:

“Il Coretto dei Pinguini” was founded in January 1996, and never stopped its activity since.
Currently the choral complex is made up of 20 singers from Volterra (Pisa) and surrounding areas.

Members

It’s a mixed choir divided into the classic SATB configuration, Italian and international pop songs arrangements acapella on four, six, up to eight mixed voices.
With the goal in mind to achieve effective musical and cultural growth, the choir collaborated with professionals in the music and choral sector such as: Maria Teresa Milano (Singing Teacher and Director of the “Trust in Jesus” choir), Roberto Beccaria (Pianist and Choir Director), Andrea Figallo ( Vocalist of “Ghost Files” and “The Flying Pickets”), Diego Caravano (arranger and vocalist of “Neri per Caso”) and Ilaria Bellucci (director of “Libero Coro Bonamici”).

Activities

Il Coretto dei Pinguini has participated in numerous festivals and competitions throughout Europe (Rome, Florence, Verona, Paris, Praha, Bratislava, Oporto, Bad Ischl, Stuttgart, Barcelona, Calella, Krakow) often receiving positive judgements and competing for gold and silver diplomas. Founder and director of the choir is Mr. Michele Bracciali.
