Biography:
Lleisiau’r Afon is a ladies choir based in the beautiful village of Carrog near Corwen under the direction of Leigh Mason.
The choir formed in January 2017 after a few of the locals decided that they would like to start a vocal party.
Since that first rehearsal of 10 members the choir has flourished into a choir of 30 members with a schedule of concerts throughout the year from local charity events, carolling at local hospitals and other venues, singing at weddings and competing.
Lleisiau’r Afon have gone from strength to strength over the last few years and sing a variety of music that often pushes them out of their comfort zone, however there is always laughter and fun whilst learning and a real feeling of family.
Our rehearsals are always open to the public and we are always looking for new members to join our choir family.
