Biography:
The “Mold Town Concert Band Yr Wyddgrug” is a Registered Charity, number 1088079.
The band was originally formed as the Argoed Concert Band in 1997. Adopted by Mold Town Council in 1999 we became the Mold Town Band, changing our name in 2002 to Mold Town Concert Band (in order to avoid being confused with a brass or silver band!)
The band continues to thrive, having seen a recent expansion in membership, & currently consists of over 40 friendly & enthusiastic musicians who play a variety of woodwind/brass instruments.
We are open to all ages from school students through to retired members – currently ranging from approx. 13 to 80 plus!
