The Mother Touch Group of Schools is an education board based in Harare, Zimbabwe

The Mother Touch Group of Schools Dance Group and Ensemble Group are a vibrant and talented pair of groups that have been captivating audiences with their dynamic performances and artistic expression. Founded in 2018 by Salome Sabina Mutsinze, the groups have grown to become a cornerstone of the school’s cultural and extracurricular activities, showcasing the rich diversity and creativity of its students. The dance group has now grown to have up to 30 students

Mission and Vision

The mission of the Mother Touch Dance Group is to foster a love for dance and the performing arts among students, encouraging them to express themselves creatively and develop their talents. The group’s vision is to be a leading force in promoting cultural appreciation and artistic excellence within the school and the broader community.

Achievements

Over the years, the Mother Touch Dance Group has achieved numerous accolades and recognition for their outstanding performances. It came second in last year’s Llangollen Musical festival. They have participated in various local and national dance competitions, often securing top positions and earning praise for their innovative choreography and energetic routines. The group has also been invited to perform at prestigious events, further cementing their reputation as a premier dance ensemble.
