Biography:
Reverberance is a vibrant Chinese Wind-Percussion ensemble composed of energetic young musicians, many of whom are alumni of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).
With a commitment to exploring the expressive potential of Chinese Wind-Percussion music, Reverberance has made a significant impact in the local music scene, including winning first place in the Singapore Chinese Music Competition (SCMC) 2020, Ensemble Category.
The ensemble has developed three key concert series—Blast, Opus, and Legends—to engage diverse audiences and showcase their versatility. These programmes are designed to bring Chinese Wind-Percussion music to a wider community while maintaining the highest standards of musical excellence. Reverberance’s efforts in cultural promotion and community engagement have been recognised, including performances at the prestigious 8th China-ASEAN Music Festival and receiving the “Community Spirit Award – Community Partnership Merit Award” from the People’s Association.
Having been an active participant in Singapore’s arts scene, Reverberance continues to align its programmes with national cultural goals, striving to become the world’s leading Chinese Wind-Percussion Ensemble and a key provider of musical excellence in the community.
