Biography:

Ruang Karya ID or Ruang Karya Insan Scholar Foundation is a community where young art enthusiasts and dancers in Jakarta gather. Our community has collaborated with approximately 50 schools in the Jabodetabek area and has more than 10,000 alumni spread across from various schools and universities.

Achievements:

Ruang Karya ID has also participated in
prestigious events both at national and
international level, such as;

  1. GRAND PRIZE at the “Supercup Performing Arts Competition” 2024 in Lloret de Mar, Spain (international level);
  2. 1st Favourite Winner at “Piala Gubernur Aceh 2023” (national level);
  3. 3rd place at the Aceh Governor’s Cup 2023 (National Level);
  4. 3rd place at the Rajomation Rampoe UGM 2022 (National Level);
  5. Saman mass dancers at the 2018 Asian Games;
  6. The 2016 Muri record with 6000 dancers,
    and many more.

  1. Becoming a youth forum and community in developing local culture
  2. Increasing youth awareness of local culture through dancing
Our missions:
  1. Build and preserve the cultural heritage of our nation for Indonesian youth;
  2. Actively joining international as well as national competition;
  3. In collaborating with government institutions to get exposure and to improve the dancer’s experience;
  4. Developing a sustainable collaboration with schools outside Jabodetabek area;
  5. Providing private class programs.
