Biography:

Sheerer Punjab Nottingham is a dance group based in Nottingham, England.

Traditional Bhangra dancing originates in Punjab, North India. The dance moves represent the daily harvesting chores carried out, such as the sowing, growing and harvest of crops. The group is formed of family members from Nottingham who have been performing Bhangra dancing at local charity events and parties. The dance is performed along to a double barrelled drum called the Dhol, giving much rhythm to the celebratory dance.
