Biography: The Testostertones were formed in 2003 as part of the University Choral Society to give the men an opportunity to improve their singing skills.

Since then the group have gone on to be Ireland’s leading male voice ensemble, with the TTones winning prizes at all the major Irish Choral Festivals including the National Male Voice Choir of the Year at the 2018 Cork Choral Festival.

The group are made up of students, staff and alumni at the university and the aim of the group is to introduce audiences to male voice music that they are not used to hearing. The TTones are continuing to push the boundaries of what is a male voice choir – performing new, contemporary music. To this end we promote new Irish composers music.
