Biography:

A group of singers, including teens and adults from the Tiffany Lau Vocal Performance Academy and the Voice of the Future in Hong Kong, has formed this choir.

They have performed over ten opera productions in the past decade, including Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance and The Mikado, Nicola LeFanu’s The Green Children, Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Matthew White and Ana Sanderson’s Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood, Helen MacGregor and Stephen Chadwick’s Snow White, Peter Maxwell Davies’ Cinderella, and The Little Prince by Rachel Portman, as well as Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, La Clemenza di Tito, and The Marriage of Figaro.

Vocalisation, known for its diverse performances, regularly showcases its talent at Holy Innocents Church and Cross Street Chapel in Manchester, St Paul’s Church in Bedford, St Botolph’s Church in Cambridge, and St Andrew’s Church in Chesterton in the UK, as well as at Ocean Park, Elements, and D-Park locally in Hong Kong.

The conductor is Ms. Tiffany Lau, a soprano who has received training at the Royal College of Music in the UK.

As the founder of the Tiffany Lau Vocal Performance Academy and the Voice of the Future, she has been conducting opera choruses and children’s choirs, as well as directing opera productions, for decades.
