Biography: Witchford Voices is a community choir, based in the village of Witchford, just outside the Cambridgeshire city of Ely. Since being established in 2009, Witchford Voices has gained a reputation for being hugely entertaining, dynamic and accessible.
The choir, led by Musical Director Naomi D’Cunha does not audition and welcomes anyone prepared to give their very best.
Past performances have included the cathedrals in Norwich, Ely, Bury St Edmunds and both in Dublin. Two tours in Belgium also found them singing at the Menin Gate as part of the Last Post Ceremony, a very moving event for all.
2018 performances include non-competitive involvement in Llangollen International Eisteddfod, where 70 performers and 40 supporters had the weekend of their lives. We have recently also completed sell out performances at the Maltings Theatre in Ely.
Quality and fun go hand in hand, and Witchford Voices goes from strength to strength. As we go into our tenth year, we hope to again be able to sing in Llangollen.
