Biography:
Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llwyncelyn is a Welsh-medium primary school in Porth, Rhondda. Singing is an integral part of every-day life at the school and being part of the school choir is a big part of the children’s education. The choir has proven success at the Urdd Eisteddfod numerous times and has won BBC Choir of the Year. They were chosen to perform for the Marks and Spencer’s Christmas advert in 2019.
The Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llwyncelyn Children’s Folk-Dance Team also has had many successes at the Urdd Eisteddfod and enjoy showcasing this unique Welsh culture in the local area and nationally.
