Biography: Music plays a very important part in our school and our school choir is central to that ethos since oping its doors in the Rhondda Valley in 1950. Our children thoroughly enjoy singing and have achieved great success over the past year. Our highlights include:
– winners of Songs of Praise Young Choir of the Year
– winners at the Urdd National Eisteddfod 2018
– performed at the Lest We Forget concert at NEC Birmingham
– appeared live on television for the Children in Need programme
– performed at St Davids Hall Christmas Celebration concert
We competed at Llangollen two years ago and had the most wonderful experience and feel that our new choir would benefit greatly from this amazing Eisteddfod, meeting new people and hearing other children sing from all over the world.
