Llanfest Full line-up Revealed

The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod has revealed the full star-studded outside stage line-up for this year’s Llanfest (Sunday 8th July, 2pm).

Multi-platinum English indie pop-legends, Kaiser Chiefs will be headlining on the main stage, supported by renowned pop rock band Hoosiers and nineties icons Toploader.

Llanfest is fast becoming a ‘music Mecca’ to see emerging bands on the outside stages during the day before the headliners take to the main stage in the evening. This year festival-goers will be able to enjoy three outdoor stages, jam-packed with rock, pop and indie music.

We Predict a Riot at Llanfest 2018

Multi-platinum English indie pop legends Kaiser Chiefs have announced their headline appearance at Llanfest, the finale party of the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, on Sunday 8th July in Llangollen, North Wales.

The concert will be the band’s first Welsh gig in almost two years and one of the first opportunities in 2018 for fans in the region to see the band live.

The five-piece band from Leeds, who shot to stardom in 2005 with their sophomore album Employment and are best known for songs including Oh My God, I Predict a Riot and Ruby, will be joined on the bill by renowned pop rock band, The Hoosiers and nineties icons, Toploader.

Manic Street Preachers Rock Llanfest 2017

Iconic Welsh rock band bring Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod 2017 to a roaring close

Llangollen’s annual International Musical Eisteddfod drew to a triumphant close last night with an epic set from Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers at Llanfest 2017.

The band’s first ever Llangollen appearance raised the roof of the Royal International Pavilion as they stormed through favourites from throughout their career, including Everything Must Go, If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next, and A Design For Life.

Fresh from the phenomenal success of the 20th anniversary tour of their fourth album ‘Everything Must Go’, Manic Street Preachers have announced an appearance at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in 2017, the event’s 70th anniversary year.
