Manchester Airport handles worldwide flights and is little more than an hour’s drive away via the M56 motorway. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is closer still.

There is a frequent bus service locally and National Express come straight into Llangollen. Local bus details can be found on Arriva Bus’s website: www.arrivabus.co.uk or D Jones & Son operate a service every 20 minutes between Wrexham, Ruabon (calling at the station to connect with the trains), Acrefair, Trevor and Llangollen.
