Biography:
Gwasanaeth Cerdd Ysgolion Gwynedd a Môn is a school based in Caernarfon
Choir
The choir was formed as part of the additional curricular programme of the Gwynedd and Môn’s School Music Service in 2023 to compete at the National Eisteddfod of Wales in Boduan.
The singers are between 14 – 18 years old and enjoy singing folk music and Cerdd-Dant – a form of traditional welsh song.
They have been successful at various national festivals. A great bunch of girls – they enjoy travelling and staying in nice hotels!
Ensemble
Band Pres Hŷn Gwasanaeth Cerdd Ysgolion Gwynedd a Môn is the school’s Music Service Senior Brass Band and is part of the Music Service’s extensive additional curricular programme. This is a very successful band and has been conducted for many years by Mr Dylan Williams. They include secondary school pupils from all over the county of Gwynedd.
Over the years, they have won many national competitions and participated in some very exciting performances.
