Tuesday 7th July – 5-7pm

From 5pm – 7pm  join us for the Sound-Bridge Sessions.  A series of open-air, early evening performances co-curated with leading artists and organisations from Wales and beyond supported by the Create fund from the Arts Council Wales.

 Sound-bridge Sessions: Angharad Jenkins presents… A co-curated evening of contemporary Welsh folk, celebrating the richness and evolution of traditional music in Wales today.

Wednesday 8th July – Daytime

Join us from 3pm in the pavilion for the first day of competitions as the Junior, Senior and and Open Children’s choirs take centre stage.
From 5-7pm Sound-Bridge Sessions : N’Famady Kouyaté presents a vibrant, genre-crossing set bringing together global sounds, virtuosic rhythm and high energy performance. Featuring Korason, Bollywood Brass Band and special guests.

Thursday 9th July – Daytime

Join us from 10am as we kick off the first full day of competitions in the Pavilion, with our ever-popular Instrumental Ensembles and other competitions on Thursday including Children’s Traditional Folk dance, Children’s Folk Choirs, Young Voice of Musical Theatre, and Young Classical Voice of the Future.
From 5pm-7pm our Sound-Bridge Sessions: Rushil Ranjan presents… A specially co-curated line-up exploring global fusion and contemporary classical influences,led by one of the UK’s most exciting cross-genre creators

Elsewhere, watch, listen and dance with our Dancing in the Street competition held in the Centenary Square from 3pm.

Friday 10th July – Daytime

Join us from 10am for a spectacular day in the Pavilion, featuring our Adult Folk Song Choirs and the semi-final of the Pendine International Voice of the Future. In addition, prepare to be amazed by virtuoso musicians from around the world, in our International Folk Soloist and International Musician of the Future competitions.
From 5pm-7pm our Sound-Bridge Session: BBC Radio Cymru–Rhys Mwyn presents… A vibrant showcase celebrating the best of contemporary Welsh-language music, featuring Malan, Blodau Papur and Carwyn Ellis & Rio 18.

Saturday 11th July – Daytime

Join us from 10am for our day of dance in the pavilion at this year’s Eisteddfod, featuring our biggest ever expansion in competitive categories. From Traditional to Contemporary, Jazz to Hip-Hop and Ballet and Ballroom, there really is something for everybody!
From 5pm-7pm Sound-bridge Sessions: Sain Records & Klust present…A compelling snapshot of Wales’ emerging and established artists, featuring Elin a Carys, Nancy Williams, and Martha Elen

Sunday 12th July – Daytime

Sunday is our legendary day of choirs, as some of the finest voices come to Llangollen to compete. From 10am you can hear performances from Mixed Choirs, Female Voice Choirs, Male Voice Choirs, and Open Choirs, and the winner of each category will go through to the Choir of the World competition in our evening concert.
From 5pm-7pm Sound-Bridge Sessions: Tŷ Cerdd presents… Blending a variety of genres from some of Wales’ leading musicians, our final guest co-curated slot of the week will feature Quartet Draig alongside a trumpet-led jazz trio with Tomos Williams, Aidan Thorne and Matt Holmes
