Key Voices will be joining us on Wednesday 8th July. They will be taking part in the Senior Children’s and Children’s Open Choirs competition. These competitions will be held in the Main Pavilion.

Biography:
As a way of keeping her older students singing during the COVID 19 pandemic, in 2021, Emma Hopkins, Musical Director and Conductor created Key Voices.
Key Voices are the senior students who are also the original members of the well known choir Perfect Pitch.
A highlight for Key Voices was being invited by the BBC to record four solos in the painted room at Chatsworth House. The songs are aired regularly on Songs of Praise – BBC One. In 2024 they were also invited to perform and the World Mobile Congress held at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.
Last year was the first time Key Voices entered the Llangollen International Music Festival and were over the moon to be awarded 3rd Place. The opportunity to perform in such a prestigious event is an honour.
The choir are proud supporters of #ChallengeDerbyshire, an initiative created to support three local end of life charities Ashgate Hospice care, Blythe House and Helens Trust. The choir to date has raised over £25,000 to help boost their funds.
