Männerchor „Germania“ Freiendiez will be joining us for the Male Voice Choir competition held on Sunday the 12th of July at the main Pavillion.

Biography:
The Germania Men’s Choir in Freiendiez was founded in 1862. Since 2000, the choir’s approximately 45 singers have been led by internationally renowned conductor Jürgen Faßbender. The choir’s collaborative work focuses on developing a wide range of male choir literature combined with a great deal of enjoyment in making music together! The choir is committed to organizing themed concerts and workshops and is always on the lookout for new forms of musical performance and public presentation. Of course, the social aspects of choir life are not neglected either! All these activities are only possible thanks to the great dedication of the choir director and the commitment and organization of a young, open-minded board. Many singers and members support this work by participating in working groups with independent project tasks. The common goal of all is to successfully present male choir singing in Freiendiez and beyond in the 21st century!
