Sempre Amabile will be competing on Sunday the 12th of July the in the Female Voice Choirs and the Open Choirs competitions both hosted on the main stage.

Biography:
Sempre Amabile is a women’s choir based in Kendal and was formed in December 2018. We enjoy giving concerts, competing in competitions and one another’s company. Most recently we enjoyed a weekend on the Isle of Man at the Isle of Man Festival of Choirs where we won the Open and Ladies Choir categories, were awarded the highest mark of the festival and to top it all, the title, ‘Choir of the Festival 2025’. We enjoy collaborations, and are currently looking forward to performing with the Solway Singers in Carlisle and with our fellow finalists from the Isle of Man Festival of Choirs, Bechyn Bro Taf, in Cardiff and Kendal in 2026. Sempre loves to sing music from a variety of genres, from madrigals to musicals, relishing the marriage of words and music and communicating the meaning to our audience. The choir were the winners of the Children’s Choirs competition at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in 2002.
