Trained in both Carnatic vocal music and the veena, alongside Western classical singing, she crafts performances that seamlessly integrate these musical worlds. Having appeared at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Southbank Centre and the Barbican, Malathy brings a distinctive voice shaped by tradition, innovation and cultural connection.

The Rohan Roy Collective is a London-based Indo-Jazz ensemble led by internationally acclaimed violinist and composer Rohan Roy. Blending the intricate ragas of Indian classical music with the harmonic richness and rhythmic freedom of modern jazz, the group creates an immersive sound that moves between meditative improvisation and vibrant groove. Bringing together the traditions of North and South Indian classical music, this exceptional quartet celebrates the spirit of jugalbandi—a vibrant musical dialogue between equals. Featuring sitar, tabla, flute and mridangam, the performance unites master musicians whose careers span the Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury, Buckingham Palace and collaborations with artists including Anoushka Shankar and A.R.
