BHANGRA HERITAGE DANCE ACADEMY (BHDA)

BHANGRA HERITAGE DANCE ACADEMY (BHDA) will be joining us all week, taking part in the Traditional Folk-Dance Group and Open Dance Group competitions and the Dance Groups non-competitive performances. These competitions will be held in the main Pavilion and non-competitive performances will be on and around the Eisteddfod field.

Biography:

Bhangra Heritage Dance Academy (BHDA) at Nakodar has the aim to promote the Real Folk Culture of Punjab. Punjabis are worldwide known to honour and respect their culture. The culture is important for the internal & external growth of the Youth. The Punjab has big Heritage Culture.

BHDA helps the young generation to save their culture by enrolling them in folk dances of Punjab like Bhangra, Gidhha, Sammi, Jhoomar, Malwai Gidhha, Jindua etc. BHDA provides teachings to the students in colleges and universities and other individuals who are willing to learn Punjabi Folk Dances.
