Country representing: Cymru

Number of members: 40

Biography:

We are a choir made up of North Wales Police officers, staff members and retired officers/staff. The choir was set up in August 2024 by our conductor Arwyn Jones. It was set up primarily for the welfare and mental health of members and the promotion of the Welsh language in the workplace. It was also to bring people together who shared a love of music and a chance to step away from the pressures of work.  We have over 60 members and meet once a week in force headquarters. We sadly lost our wonderful musical director, Annette Bryn Parri earlier this year. The choir had been under Annette’s guidance from the very beginning and her passing has been felt throughout.
