Biography:
Haaslava Men’s Choir was founded on 15 January 1923 in the village of Haaslava, near the city of Tartu. The choir consists of men, aged 35–75 with a varied repertoire of nearly 100 pieces – from classical music to contemporary pop. The men’s choir has a colourful history and a meaningful everyday life. Each year, the choir perform multiple concerts and participate in all national and local song festivals. Since 1935, the choir have organised the Men’s Song Day every spring, attended by 5–6 men’s choirs, totaling 150–200 male voices.
