Oscars Ungdomskör will be competing in the Adult Folk Song competition on Friday 10th July and the Mixed, Female and Open Choral Competitions on Sunday the 12th of July at the main pavillion.

Biography: Oscars Ungdomskör was in its present form founded in 2007 by its conductor, Pär Olofsson. The choir consists of around 35 young singers from the greater Stockholm area. The choir has a wide repertoire from gospel to contemporary music, and participates in many concerts at its home venue, Oscarskyrkan. In the past, the choir has also done appearances in Oscarskyrkans acclaimed productions of Andrew Lloyd-Webber´s ”Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat” and Leonard Bernsteins ”Mass”. In the spring of 2026, the choir will premiere the new musical “The song of the gardener”. The choir has visited us at Llangollen four years previously and also participated in several other international competitions.
