Biography:
We are a crew of triple harp players. ‘Rhesi Gwalia’ was recently established by a group of friends, but we have been performing together for several years. Our main goal as a group is to raise the profile of the Triple Harp and present it to a wider audience, hoping to attract the interest of future triple harpists. We did a lot of research into the history of the old Welsh harpists and their style of playing. In our repertoire, we play arrangements of our traditional tunes and take pride in the fact that many have survived in 18th and 19th-century books and old Welsh manuscripts.
