Biography:
YSGOL GERDD is an innovative music school based in the picturesque Teifi Valley, West Wales, UK. It was founded in 1993 to promote singing of the highest standard amongst the youth of the area. Children and young people attend weekly lessons and choir rehearsals in the market town of Newcastle Emlyn. YSGOL GERDD has established itself at the forefront of the youth choral movement with an impressive list of achievements – three times winners of S4C’s flagship choral competition ’Côr Cymru’, enjoyed numerous successes at Llangollen over the years as well as countless prestigious performances at many of the major performance venues across the UK and abroad.
