Angharad Jenkins and Patrick Rimes are among the leading figures in Welsh folk music. Founding members of Calan, and with Patrick also a founder of Vrï, they have spent 15 years redefining Welsh traditional music through inventive interpretations and international touring. Renowned for their contributions to the Welsh fiddle tradition, the duo released their acclaimed debut album amrwd in 2023, earning a nomination for Welsh Album of the Year. Their intimate performances blend vibrant fiddle playing, rich vocal harmonies, and a deep connection to Wales’s folk heritage.
