Parisa Fouladi is a Welsh Iranian artist from Cardiff, Wales. She fuses neo-soul, hip-hop and jazz with an emotive and distinctive voice that draws inspiration from artists such as Sault, Cleo Sol and Eryka Badu. Her music explores the delicate questions around self-scrutiny and the consequences of an imbalanced society. She has performed at some of Wales’ most prestigious music events including Llwyfan y Maes at the National Eisteddfod, Tafwyl, In It Together, Swn, Focus Wales, Gwyl Fach y Fro and 2024’s Trawsnewid: Transform event in Aberystwyth. Alongside numerous appearances on national television and radio, Parisa’s career highlights include performing at the live televised Cymru Ukraine concert in 2022 as wel as presenting a documentary about Iran with Y Byd ar Bedwar and ITV the folowing year. Parisa is currently recording her debut EP with the support of the BBC Horizons/Gorwelion Launchpad Fund and is taking bookings for her live 5 piece band in 2025.
