Join us from 10am as we kick off the first full day of competitions in the Pavilion, with our ever-popular Instrumental Ensembles. With a wide variety of genres from all over the world, it’ll be the perfect start to a classic day at the Eisteddfod, with other competitions on Thursday including Children’s Traditional Folk dance, Children’s Folk Choirs, Young Voice of Musical Theatre, and Young Classical Voice of the Future.
Elsewhere, watch, listen and dance with our Dancing in the Street competition held in the Centenary Square from 3pm.
Sound-Bridge Sessions / Sesiynau Pont-Sain are a series of open-air, early evening performances co-curated with leading artists and organisations from Wales and beyond. Bridging the festival’s daytime competitions and evening concerts, each session offers a unique snapshot of contemporary music-making, from folk and jazz to global and genre-defying collaborations.
