Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is seeking a new Chair of Trustees to champion and support the work of its staff team and volunteers as its celebrates its 75th successful year. The organisation is committed to ensuring the Eisteddfod is open, accessible, diverse, equitable, inclusive and affordable for everyone. People from all backgrounds are welcomed to express interest in becoming Chair.

Lead Events Administrator – Maternity Cover

Salary: £18,525.00 pro rata

Fixed term contract for 8-12 months – immediate start – 22.5 hours per week (mainly office based with some WFH)

Llangollen International Musical Eisteddford is looking for an Lead Events Administrator (maternity cover) to join our small team, working in the music office as the main point of contact for our competitors and Field performers. There will be a period of handover in the lead up to our 2022 festival which runs from 07-10 July.

The role covers a variety of tasks including the programming and co-ordination of competitions, concerts, outside stages and outreach events, and supporting the Executive Producer and marketing team with their work. This represents an excellent opportunity for a person keen to work in events, and to gain experience of festival programming.

The successful candidate will be friendly, motivated and confident, ideally with musical and event experience. They will have excellent communication skills and will be able to work as part of a team and to tight deadlines. Welsh language knowledge (particularly written Welsh) desirable but not essential. Attendance at the 2022 festival, which runs from 07-10 July inclusive, required.
