Brenig are a three piece folk group based in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion. Formed three years ago, they perform original folk and contemporary songs and a selection of Welsh tunes. The songs are composed by band member Daniel Laws, who draws on his experiences growing up on a farm near Tregaron, Ceredigion. Moreover Brenig tell stories of Welsh folklore, tradition, history, love and the countryside. Brenig are often guested at folk clubs and have suppored top artists in Wales and England. They enjoy supporting small rural village halls by organising concerts. Brenig have an album out “The Caron Trail” which consits of beautiful songs performed in there own original style.
