The Huangpu Youth Art Activity Center Orchestra of the Shanghai Student Art Troupe is a youth orchestra supported by the Huangpu District Education Bureau. Dedicated to classical music education and performance, it has won numerous awards, including First Prize in the Shanghai Division of the National Primary and Secondary School Art Exhibition, the Championship at the Philadelphia International Music Festival, and multiple Gold Awards in the Shanghai Student Art Individual Competition.
Li Hanyu is the orchestra’s resident conductor. A member of the Shanghai Musicians Association, he studied at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and has performed with the Asian Youth Orchestra and the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra.
