New search launched for singing stars of future

A “supremely talented soprano” has launched a search to find the world’s most talented young singers.

According to Charlotte Hoather, 24, winning the prestigious Pendine International Voice of the Future competition at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod last year catapulted her career to a new level on the global stage.

Entries are already flooding in for the prestigious competition this year which has a first prize of £5,000, along with a £2,000 cheque for the runner up.

Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod welcomes new Music Director

The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod has announced its 8th Music Director and first ever representative of Greek origin to hold the prestigious title, Vicky Yannoula.

Portfolio musician with international experience, Vicky, joins the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod following successful positions at organisations such as Trinity College London, Middlesex University and the Drake Calleja Trust, succeeding Eilir Owen Griffiths following his six-year tenure.
